Indiana University Health seeks an Advisor-Environmental Health and Safety to lead regional clinical and operational teams in advancing infection prevention and control practices. The role provides direction, mentorship, and collaboration with facilities management and cross-functional leaders on regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of healthcare experience.
NFPA Life Safety Specialist, OSHA 10 and 30 hour General Industry certifications within 6 months of hire.
Experience with Joint Commission, AAAHC, DNV or ISO standards.
Preference for large system regional infection prevention experience.
Facilities management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads regional clinical and operational teams to improve infection prevention and control practices.
Provides direction, mentorship, and oversight for environmental health and safety standards.
Collaborates with state and IU Health leaders on new environmental safety concerns.
