Job summary

Piedmont Technical College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus or at six county centers across Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville and McCormick.

Opportunities may include daytime or evening classes, online instruction, and dual credit courses offered at local high schools. The instructor is responsible for the accurate and high-quality delivery of the program curriculum in accordance with state and national standards, including course preparation,

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN with 2+ years nursing experience, including at least 1 year in long-term care.
• CMA, phlebotomist, MLT or other lab professional with 3+ years of field experience.
• Experience in medical coding and billing will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Course preparation.
• Lecture and lab instruction using a variety of delivery methods.
• Clinical coordination and instruction.
• Maintaining student records.
• Meeting reporting deadlines required by program governing bodies.
