Piedmont Technical College is seeking qualified Adjunct Faculty to periodically teach EMS courses at the Lex Walters Campus and six county centers across Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick. Qualifications

• Minimum SC DHEC and NREMT certification as EMT/AEMT/Paramedic, with 3+ years field experience.
• Certified CPR instructor through AHA or ASHI with at least 1 year of teaching experience.
• Complete 40-hour Instructor Methodology course and DHEC EMT Instructor Orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EMS curriculum at BLS and ALS levels per state and national standards.
• Prepare courses, lecture and lab instruction using multiple delivery methods.
• Provide clinical instruction and maintain student records; meet reporting deadlines.
• Communicate with students, faculty, and staff; participate in practical testing; maintain certifications.
