Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a Supervisor to lead on-site foodservice operations in Media, PA. This full-time role oversees scheduling, task assignment, and performance to ensure safe, high-quality service in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and team supervision skills, including coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
• Operational knowledge of foodservice or hospitality environments, including scheduling, workflow management, and basic budgeting or cost control.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance in a healthcare or institutional setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse team members, clinical partners, and patients/guests.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency for scheduling systems, inventory tools, and reporting.
• Prior supervisory experience in foodservice, hospitality, or healthcare is highly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality, nutrition, management, or related fields is a plus.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily foodservice operations, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
• Ensure high-quality service and compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate meal preparation and service to support patient and guest satisfaction initiatives.
• Help manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls.
• Train and mentor staff; assist with onboarding new team members.
• Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with Morrison’s values.
• Collaborate closely with clinical, culinary, and support staff to deliver a patient-centered dining experience.
