Responsibilities

• Provide care appropriate to the age and needs of residents.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards and keep a clean work area.
• Use standardized recipes to prepare daily meals and maintain temperatures.
• Follow production guidelines and relay issues to the supervisor.
• Assemble resident trays matching the tray tickets.
• Ensure delivery of resident trays within established timeframes.
• Deliver nourishments and tube feedings to residents; maintain nourishment rooms.
• Clear and return resident trays for washing and sanitation.
• Assist with catered events and set up food items and service areas.
• Mediates resident concerns and advocates for quality food service.
• Communicate with staff to address resident support needs.
• Protect the privacy of residents’ PHI and handle information securely.
• Requisition food and supplies; maintain par levels in the area.
• Assist cooks and Nutrition Assistants as directed by management.
• Operate food service equipment (slicer, coffee machines, printers, etc.).
• Assist in training new employees and perform other duties as assigned.
