Lemontree Healthcare is seeking a motivated Food Service Worker to handle cash register transactions and assist with meal service for residents and staff. The role emphasizes delivering friendly customer service, maintaining a clean dining area, and supporting efficient food service operations in a healthcare setting.

The position is full-time at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, with a schedule that includes Monday–Friday and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or customer service roles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents, visitors, and staff.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process cash, credit, and electronic transactions for meals and items, ensuring proper change and receipts.
• Maintain a clean and organized cash register area with compliant cash handling procedures.
• Assist with tracking sales, inventory, and daily financial reporting.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
• Serve food items to residents and guests on the serving line with correct portions and meal choices.
• Assist with food replenishment during service to ensure uninterrupted flow.
