Job summary

Forefront Healthcare in Davenport, IA is seeking a part-time, hourly Dining Aide to set up dining areas and meal trays, follow food safety guidelines, and accommodate residents' dietary needs. You will assist cooks, deliver meal carts, and maintain sanitation in the kitchen and dining spaces.

Hours include days, evenings, some weekends and holidays. You will work in a respectful team, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for training and advancement within a caring healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Setting up the dining area and trays for meal services; adhering to food safety guidelines; following dietary restrictions based on residents' needs.
• Assisting cook/supervisor with food preparation and service using specific procedures, guidelines and regulations.
• Delivering residents' meal carts; setting and cleaning dining areas to serve residents.
• Recording temperatures on refrigerators; cleaning and stocking as needed.
• Washing and storing dishes; maintaining sanitation and kitchen upkeep.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and Community rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Participating in department meetings; pursuing required certifications/licenses and training.
