The Waters of Maryville is seeking a Dietary Aide to maintain dining areas, assist with meal preparation, and ensure clean, sanitary kitchen and dining spaces in our senior healthcare setting.

You will follow sanitation guidelines, work with dietary and kitchen staff, and help provide residents with safe, timely meals in a warm, home-like environment.

Formación

• Experience in food-service or healthcare helpful but not required.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines for a hygienic environment.
• Ability to prepare meals according to instructions using cookware and appliances.

Join Our Team at The Waters of Maryville as a Dietary Aide

Responsible for maintaining setting up tables and ensuring that dining areas are clean, sanitary, and organized. Prepare meals under the guidance of a dietary manager or cook in our senior healthcare facility – The Waters of Maryville. Duties include washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and food-service equipment; maintaining cleanliness of kitchen surfaces and floors; properly storing clean items; removing trash; and following all food-safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures. Works cooperatively with all dietary and kitchen staff to ensure residents receive safe and timely meal service.

Dietary Aide Responsibilities:

• Set up tables and dining areas with precision, emphasizing cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under the guidance of a dietary manager or cook, ensuring adherence to instructions and safety standards.
• Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures

• Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, and carrying items.
• Set up tables and dining areas with precision, emphasizing cleanliness and order.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup by clearing dining areas and collecting plates and utensils.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean, wash dishes, cooking equipment, and silverware.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and maintain inventory.
• Contribute to the upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.

Skills You Bring as a Dietary Aide:

• Previous food-service or healthcare experience is helpful but not required.
• Knowledgeable about sanitation and safety guidelines, ensuring a hygienic environment.
