Guardian Pharmacy in Knoxville, TN is seeking a dedicated route driver to manage time-sensitive medication deliveries. You will optimize daily routes, verify totes, and ensure timely handoffs to facilities while adhering to patient privacy rules.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 2+ years of related experience, and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Flexible hours and travel across East Tennessee are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• 2+ years of related experience; advanced degree may substitute.
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy ops system experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; fast-paced team environment.
• Able to use GPS and read maps in English.

Responsibilities

• Determine the most efficient route for each assigned route.
• Check totes for facilities to ensure orders are complete before departure.
• Deliver correct totes to facilities promptly.
• Exchange facility emergency kits and IV boxes as needed.
• Pick up return items and refused medications following safety protocols.
• Complete paperwork/filing accurately at end of shift.
• Present a pleasant, respectful demeanor to all clients.
• Work with team members in special circumstances; be flexible.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and arrange service as required.
• Complete deliveries within shift time while following traffic laws.
• Follow patient privacy rules precisely.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
