Responsible for all aspects of health care data management and database administration, Assists in database design, updating and amending existing databases, monitoring database efficiency and integrity of data. Creating complex query definitions that allow data to be extracted and develops and/or modifies programs and applications for business operations. Aggregates disparate data from third parties and internal systems in various formats to establish meaningful data models and assist administrative and clinical leadership in the monitoring and achievement of organizational quality performance goals and objectives. Utilize all available data sources and associated data structures to provide actionable information to MPP to facilitate population health management.

This position is fully remote.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent from a four year college or technical school
  • Five Years’ experience as a database administrator/programmer/analyst
  • Proven experience with multiple OS/Platforms, Visual Basic, ASP.NET, Access
  • Experience developing complex reports (e.g. drill-down reports), using MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

Preferred:

  • Two years’ experience in a HMO, Managed Care Organization, government-regulated health organization or group health insurance environment
  • Five years’ experience in computer applications and programming
