Job summary

Qualifications

• MUST be a US Citizen and MUST clear a US government background check
• DEGREE: Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in mathematics, statistics, and computer science, with calculus
• EXPERIENCE: At least one year of related experience at the GS-12 level or Ph.D./doctorate substitution per OPM guidelines -- related to the position

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate hardware and software components into comprehensive system solutions.
• Develop system architecture and design documents.
• Develop and manage databases.
• Automate routine tasks using scripts and management solution tools.
• Oversee implementation of system solutions, including test plans, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Gather and analyze system requirements to meet user needs.
• Develop storage architecture based on capacity planning and needs assessments.
• Support and configuration of network services.
• Assist with System Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Assist with firewall, network infrastructure, and vulnerability scanning systems.
• Manage web and database servers and ensure data security.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science
