The internship provides exposure to clinical, medical, and healthcare insurance data, with tracks in Knowledge Graphs, Medical Imaging, Predictive Modeling, and AI Applications. Mentorship and hands-on research experience prepare interns for healthcare data science careers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; pursuing a graduate degree is preferred.
• Pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Biomedical Informatics, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field is desired.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers, data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers to develop innovative data science solutions.
• Contribute to design, development, evaluation, and experimentation of analytic solutions for healthcare data.
• Communicate findings to technical and business audiences and participate in project planning and reporting.
• Undertake professional development experiences aligning with business objectives and unit goals.
• Support unit projects and initiatives within the area of expertise.
