Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Audit and abstract medical records to identify and submit ICD codes to CMS for risk adjustment.
• Support coding judgments using industry standard evidence and tools.
• Ensure codes are accurate and supported by clinical documentation.
• Identify clinically active vs historical conditions.
• Adhere to project timelines and directives.
• Conduct self-audits for compliance with policies and CMS guidance.
