CVS Health is seeking a Medical Records Auditor to audit and abstract provider and vendor medical records to identify ICD codes submitted to CMS. You will ensure codes are accurate, documented, and compliant with applicable regulations. This full-time role requires CPC or CCS-P certification, ICD coding experience, outbound provider communications, and Microsoft Office proficiency.

40 hours/week with competitive benefits. The pay range is $18.50–$38.82 per hour.

Competenze

• CPC or CCS-P certification required.
• Experience with ICD coding and medical record documentation review.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related coding applications.
• Ability to perform outbound communications with providers.
• Minimum 1 year of medical record documentation review, diagnosis coding, or auditing.

Mansioni

• Audit and abstract provider and/or vendor medical records for ICD codes submitted to CMS.
• Validate codes for risk adjustment accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Identify clinically active vs historical conditions and ensure proper documentation.
• Adhere to timelines and conduct internal process audits for compliance with CMS, OIG, and policies.
