Qualifications

• CPC/CCS-P credentials or active certification required.
• 1+ year of medical record documentation review, diagnosis coding or auditing.
• Proficient with ICD coding and medical terminology.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security rules.

Responsibilities

• Audit and abstract provider or vendor records to identify CMS ICD codes.
• Validate codes used for risk adjustment are accurate and compliant.
• Maintain timely completion of audits per project deadlines.
• Communicate findings with providers and internal teams as needed.
