Job summary

Compunnel Inc. is seeking a Manual QA Tester to validate ETL processes, data transformations, and reporting solutions within healthcare environments.

You will design and execute comprehensive manual test plans, ensuring data integrity and compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities include testing SSIS pipelines, SSRS reports, and data extracts, while collaborating with developers and data engineers to resolve issues and support audits.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of manual QA testing focusing on ETL and data transformation.
• Strong SQL experience for data validation and integrity checks.
• Hands-on testing of SSIS packages, ETL pipelines, and SSRS reports.
• Familiar with Jira or Azure DevOps for defect tracking and collaboration.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA) and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to design comprehensive manual test plans and test scenarios across data platforms.
• Validate data mapping, transformations, and business rules across source systems to reporting layers.
• Perform data integrity checks and reconciliations using SQL and data validation techniques.
• Test ETL pipelines, SSIS packages, and data extracts for accuracy and compliance.
• Validate SSRS reports and BI outputs against warehouse data and business expectations.
