Job summary

Cardinal Health’s Summer Internship Program offers a 10–12 week, hands-on experience in Dublin, Ohio. Interns work on business-critical analytics projects, contribute to dashboards, and present insights to leaders.

Participants gain mentoring, cross-functional exposure, and leadership development while exploring full-time opportunities and the healthcare industry. Housing assistance is available for non-local students and the schedule is approx. 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Experience with analytical tools and programming languages is preferred (Alteryx, PowerBI, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau).
• Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• Participation in extracurricular activities and professional associations.

Responsibilities

• Integrate customer analytical views across sales, finance, operations, customer service, etc.
• Develop dynamic dashboards and reporting tools for stakeholders.
• Analyze trends and identify opportunities for business impact.
• Contribute to automating tasks to increase efficiency and accuracy within the analytics team.
• Support business objectives by developing and presenting analytical insights.
• Develop, analyze and prepare reports to support strategic initiatives.
• Create dynamic data visualizations to support data-driven decision making.
• Utilize advanced analytical methods to reduce costs or increase revenue.
• Assist with miscellaneous data requests to support agile business processes.
