Job summary

Oxford Global Resources is seeking a healthcare business analyst to pinpoint problems and improvement opportunities within a medical facility to maximize performance and profitability. The role involves evaluating financial activity and reducing costs such as overtime and supplies.

Responsibilities include designing reporting systems, developing production reporting capabilities, and supporting the Utilization Management department with data-driven improvements using SAS and SQL.

Qualifications

• Expertise with EDI and HIPAA testing across multiple transactions (claims, payments, enrollment, premium, eligibility).
• Strong knowledge of managed care payer requirements and operational improvements.
• Experience as a healthcare business analyst in Claim Processing, Billing/Invoicing, and Customer Care.

Responsibilities

• Analyze reporting needs and data retrieval methods to develop systems meeting Department needs.
• Develop and maintain production reporting capabilities.
• Monitor timely and accurate production and distribution of standard and user-generated reports.
• Provide support to Utilization Management by teaching and applying data tools and new applications.
• Provide statistical and analytical support using SAS, SQL, SOURCE and other packages to meet department needs.
