Job summary

CHOP’s Data and Analytics team within the Center for Healthcare Quality and Analytics on-site in Philadelphia, PA, helps empower users with trusted data through metrics, reporting, and analytics solutions, collaborating with governance and clinical informatics teams.

Turn complex information into clear insights, delivering data storytelling tailored to diverse audiences and supporting ad hoc and scheduled reporting to improve care quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience with SQL and relational database structures.
• Experience with at least one programming or analytical language such as R, Python, or SAS.
• Experience with data visualization tools preferred, such as Tableau or Qlik.

Responsibilities

• Partner with teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define metrics, retrieve data, and verify the validity of results.
• Work across data requests and projects from start to finish, contributing to deliverables end to end.
• Build analytics outputs such as dashboards, reports, and business intelligence tools, and perform data analysis to measure processes and outcomes.
• Communicate findings through clear data storytelling, presenting results in an understandable and actionable way for each audience.
• Collaborate with enterprise data warehouse, data governance, quality improvement, clinical informatics, and business teams on issues affecting data quality, architecture, or repository structure.
• Develop and maintain current project status and documentation for work products.
• Under supervision, contribute to projects and tasks using appropriate data.
• Provide operational support for organizational data needs, including ad hoc and scheduled reporting
