Job summary

WellSky is seeking a data analyst to perform statistical modeling and data analysis to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations that identify trends and patterns of business importance. The role includes collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs and presenting data to influence decision-making.

You will develop dashboards and reports, leveraging Looker and BigQuery, to support data-driven decisions and to translate complex analyses into actionable insights for stakeholders.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs, develop technical requirements, and provide analytical interpretations.

• Analyze trends and patterns in both structured and unstructured datasets to generate actionable insights.
• Build and maintain standard statistical models to support ongoing business needs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and/or SQL.
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards, with strong preference for Looker.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Analytics, Health Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience in the Utilization Management (UM) or Managed Care Payer space.
• Experience working with Google BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouse platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code to accelerate analytical workflows.
