Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Custodian to perform skilled cleaning and housekeeping across inpatient and non-patient areas. You will handle stripping, waxing, carpet shampooing, and use of custodial supplies with care.

This role requires prior service-industry experience, strong customer service, and the ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled cleaning, housekeeping and general maintenance in inpatient, outpatient and non-patient areas.
• Carefully use supplies and equipment while performing custodial tasks.
• Perform tile and carpet care including stripping, waxing and carpet extraction/shampooing.
• Carry out other housekeeping duties as assigned.
