Job summary

Oakland Community Health Network is seeking an Accounting Cost and Utilization Analyst in Troy, MI to analyze service delivery and billing activity across provider networks. The role supports budget preparation, contract compliance, rate setting, and provider relations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 3–5 years of data analytics experience, and strong Excel and communication skills. Hybrid onsite/remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Experience leading data analytics projects.
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, including accrual-based accounting and standard cost allocation.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret cost and utilization data to monitor budget and compliance.
• Assist with MDHHS reporting and financial statements.
• Serve as financial liaison between providers and OCHN.
• Represent OCHN in financial workgroups and meetings.
• Communicate funding changes to providers and MDHHS.
• Prepare complex statistical analyses and graphical data representations for reports.
• Provide benchmarks on cost and utilization statistics.
• Analyze fund sources and support budgeting and staffing decisions.
• Other duties as assigned.
