Job summary

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS, is seeking a PRN Cook to join our busy food service team. Under supervision, you will prepare, season, and cook a variety of meals according to menus, recipes, and production sheets, while keeping areas clean and sanitary.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/Equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in quantity cooking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of food items per menus, recipes and production sheets while maintaining a clean and sanitary work area.
• Adhere to HACCP/food safety guidelines/policies & procedures.
• Utilize proper equipment to produce standard recipes.
• Foster a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values of the organization.
• Participate in training with other members of the production staff to advance within the industry.
