Landmark of Lincoln Park is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare nutritious, tasty meals for residents in our healthcare facility. You will follow dietary restrictions and assist with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, contributing to residents’ health and well-being in a warm, team‑oriented environment.

The role requires a high school education, sanitation certification, and the ability to cook large quantities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or equivalent (at a minimum).
• One year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility preferred.
• Must have a sanitation certificate.
• Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Must be knowledgeable of dietary procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with food preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following dietary restrictions.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Maintain confidentiality and a professional appearance while providing care and meals to residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff to ensure accurate meal service.
• Support a compassionate, team-oriented kitchen environment.
