Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or food service setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary guidelines.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary restrictions accurately.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus, portion control guidelines, and dietary requirements.
• Ensure food is prepared to be both nutritious and visually appealing.
• Follow therapeutic diet plans and special meal instructions accurately.
• Support tray line service and ensure residents receive correct meals and proper utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all food service regulations and facility policies.
• Monitor food quality and report any issues to the Dietary Manager.
