Job summary

Corenic Construction Group is seeking a Healthcare Superintendent for Field Operations. You will manage day-to-day healthcare construction activities, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality while maintaining strict infection control and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years leading healthcare or complex projects, reads blueprints, and coordinates with clients, architects, and hospital admins. OSHA 30 and CHC are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supervising healthcare or similar complex construction projects.
• Familiarity with healthcare-specific codes (e.g., Joint Commission, NFPA, infection control standards)
• Prior experience with base building/ground up construction projects
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Demonstrated experience with coordinating with stakeholders and teams
• OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, and infection control training (ICRA)
• CHC strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction activities to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Serve as on-site liaison between construction team, clients, architects, and hospital administration.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify plans and specs and resolve issues promptly.
• Enforce safety protocols and infection control measures to protect patients and staff.
