Job summary

Tend is seeking a Healthcare Superintendent to lead field operations for construction projects in healthcare environments in San Antonio, TX. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient construction work within active hospital settings. Key tasks include trade coordination, site logistics, and safety enforcement. The ideal candidate must possess previous Superintendent experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects while maintaining strict compliance with safety standards. Qualifications

• Previous Superintendent experience on healthcare construction projects, including renovations and ground‑up medical facilities.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods in complex environments.
• Experience implementing ICRA protocols and interim life safety measures in occupied clinical settings.
• Proven ability to manage daily field operations and subcontractor performance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills in high‑pressure environments.
