Job summary

Marand Builders Inc. seeks an experienced General Contractor Healthcare Construction Superintendent to drive ground-up hospital and freestanding ER projects. You will lead field teams, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with PMs, subs, and clients across sites in Florida.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in healthcare construction, a construction management or engineering degree, OSHA 30, and proficiency in Procore and MS Office. Travel up to 75% and a strong safety mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years in healthcare construction, ground-up hospital/ER experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
• OSHA 30 within last 5 years or ability to renew; ICRA familiarity.
• Proficient with project reporting software, MS Office, and Procore.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regs, and QA/QC standards.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety compliance (OSHA and company policies) as top priority.
• Supervise field construction to meet design, budget, and schedule.
• Lead weekly on-site meetings with subs, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures and safety programs.
• Mentor other superintendent levels and coordinate with PM.
• Maintain contract documents and manage field office setup.
• Oversee subcontractor progress and update construction schedules.
• Manage layouts, redlines, and coordination with project team.
