Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in a field supervisory role for a commercial general contractor or subcontractor.
• Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling for construction trades (all disciplines).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of trade contractors and craft workforce, tracking production, manpower, time, and equipment inventory.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship, and resource allocation to ensure schedule and quality adherence.
• Interpret and maintain contract documents; support subcontractors by clarifying scope, reviewing drawings, and managing RFIs.
• Assist in project planning, including site logistics, sequencing, material deliveries, and development of short-term and overall schedules.
• Track project progress, update schedules, identify critical path impacts, and help implement corrective actions to maintain timelines.
• Promote and enforce job site safety practices, including orientations, monitoring compliance, documentation, and a hazard-free work area.
• Support QA/QC processes through inspections, documentation, testing coordination, and contract/regulatory compliance.
• Manage financial and risk-related activities, including cost tracking, invoice verification, purchasing, and understanding contractual obligations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members while supporting training, development, and workforce growth initiatives.
