Wohlsen Construction Company is seeking a Project Manager for our Lancaster, PA area operations. The role focuses on securing and managing project cost, schedule, and performance in line with company policy and standards.

You will present technical expertise to clients and lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. The position requires hands-on project management, coordination with estimating and accounting, and effective communication with clients.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Construction technology, Engineering or related discipline with 3–7 years of relevant experience.
• Healthcare construction PM experience with projects of $5M+.
• OSHA 10 Hour certification; OSHA 30, First Aid and CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the project plan, sequence, and schedule with collaboration of field personnel.
• Prepare and issue project documents including progress reports, project schedule updates, and financial/budget updates.
• Coordinate with Estimating team on cost development and subcontractor quotes.
• Review plans with Estimating and accounting, assist with Project Performance Agreement (PPA).
• Lead contract negotiations and changes in scope with the client.
• Ensure timely invoicing and compliance with owner contract requirements.
• Oversee safety requirements and site inspections.
• Manage and develop Project Assistants and Project Engineers.
