Job summary

Forney Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead project teams and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across assigned sites in the Houston area.

You will administer prime contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders, and prepare management reports while identifying risks and implementing cost-effective mitigation strategies. Healthcare construction experience is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in building construction, architecture, engineering desired, but not required.
• 3+ years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or equivalent.
• Extensive Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) experience.
• Healthcare construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review original estimate with estimating department and develop schedule with superintendent assistance.
• Coordinate timely procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure permits, insurance certificates and related documentation are issued.
• Create and maintain financial reporting and project logs.
• Prepare monthly applications for payment and collect payments from owner.
• Lead weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings.
