Job summary

Danis in Jacksonville is seeking a Project Manager – Healthcare Construction to lead active hospital construction projects. You will manage day‑to‑day construction execution on healthcare projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with field teams and subcontractors in occupied environments.

This hands‑on role requires a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, 5–8+ years in healthcare or hospital construction, and proven GC or CM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent construction experience).
• 5–8+ years of construction experience, including direct involvement in healthcare or hospital construction.
• Experience working for a general contractor or construction manager.
• Working knowledge of AHCA requirements, ICRA standards, and Florida healthcare construction regulations.
• Experience managing work in active or occupied healthcare facilities.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day construction execution on healthcare projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Coordinate subcontractors, field teams, and consultants in active or occupied hospital environments
• Support planning, scheduling, cost control, buyout, billings, and change management
• Participate in owner, architect, and contractor (OAC) meetings as the GC representative
• Partner closely with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Executives
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control requirements, AHCA regulations, and hospital protocols
