Job summary

John Knox Village is seeking a Compliance Associate to develop, implement, and maintain strategic and tactical components of the Risk Management program, ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance across the organization.

You will support associates, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to understand requirements and use reporting systems for ethical conduct. Role requires driving the compliance program with training, audits, and board reports.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant healthcare laws and regulations related to risk management and workers’ compensation.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and e-security regulations
• Demonstrates sound decision-making skills and be able to function independently to gather necessary data from various sources for problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Corporate Compliance Program and unit-specific compliance plans to stay aligned with industry standards.
• Promote regulatory compliance and ethical conduct to all stakeholders.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and adapt practices as regulations change.
• Develop guidelines and communications to educate staff on ethical principles aligned with John Knox Village values.
• Serve as Compliance Officer and HIPAA Privacy Officer; coordinate with System Security Officer on risk assessments and controls.
