UnitedHealth Group in Chelmsford, MA is seeking a full-time Billing Specialist to join our office-based team with 2 in-office days and 3 work-from-home days each week. The role involves handling high-volume calls from patients and insurers, resolving billing inquiries, and supporting patient financial collections.

Training is onsite, shifts run 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and overtime may be required. You will use billing systems to process payments, address demographics, and ensure accurate account

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with third-party billing practices.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work full time with 8-hour shifts, 2 in-office days and 3 work-from-home.

Responsabilidades

• Answers phone calls in a high volume call center environment from patients and insurers.
• Works toward monthly goals of customer service and patient financial collections.
• Investigates and resolves billing problems using data and reference materials.
• Processes patient payments and posts to billing systems as needed.
• Initiates contact for missing/erroneous demographic and insurance information.
