Job summary

Guidehouse seeks an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to lead design and implementation of secure, scalable Azure and AWS solutions for healthcare clients. You will translate clinical and operational needs into compliant cloud architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, while aligning to HIPAA, HITRUST, and HL7/FHIR standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years architecting Azure and/or AWS solutions in healthcare environments.
• Experience designing secure, compliant cloud architectures for sensitive healthcare data.
• Experience supporting hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Consulting/advisory or client-facing experience with executives and senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Azure services (VMs, Entra ID, SQL, Blob, AKS, Networking, Monitor, Key Vault).
• Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, EKS, VPC, CloudWatch, KMS, Route 53).
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and interoperability standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical architecture advisory to healthcare clients.
• Design and deploy secure, scalable cloud solutions on Azure and AWS.
• Translate business and technical requirements into cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Define cloud governance, identity, encryption, and security monitoring per Zero Trust.
• Architect secure EHR/HIE integrations using HL7/FHIR.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, high availability, and DR designs (RTO/RPO).
• Develop infrastructure-as-code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Optimize environments for performance and cost via FinOps.
• Produce architecture docs and mentor project teams.
