Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC in Maryland seeks a Lead Cloud Architect to guide the technical architecture, planning, and delivery of enterprise cloud applications and data platforms.

You will lead architectural decisions across the full project lifecycle. The role requires hands-on experience across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, with a strong emphasis on healthcare data systems, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with government and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cloud solutions delivery across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud (architecture and implementation).
• Experience combining technical leadership and project management responsibilities.
• Experience supporting public health, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare data systems.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, regulatory environments, and data management practices.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Trello).
• (required for government contract eligibility).
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture, planning, and delivery of enterprise cloud applications and data platforms.
• Design, review, and guide implementation of cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Serve as a technical liaison between engineering teams, government stakeholders, and business users.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure cloud architectures.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system designs, and implementation roadmaps.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies while ensuring technical quality.
• Support system modernization, data integration, and cloud migration initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with government, healthcare, and data governance standards.
• Facilitate technical reviews, status briefings, and stakeholder meetings.
• Support Agile or hybrid delivery models, working closely with developers, data engineers, and security teams.
