Job summary

Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) in Mount Pleasant, PA is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Technician to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across our inpatient facility. The role involves sweeping, mopping, dusting, restrooms, and public areas, with a focus on health and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Cleaning prior experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment such as vacuums and buffers.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in tasks.
• Good communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas including restrooms, offices, and break rooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors, carpets, and hard surfaces.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste per procedures.
• Dust and clean windows, desks, furniture, and surfaces.
• Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Report maintenance or repair needs (fixtures, plumbing, lighting).
• Follow health and safety regulations and proper chemical usage.
• Assist with deep cleaning or carpet shampooing as needed.
