Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) in Mount Pleasant, PA, is hiring a part-time Cleaning Technician to maintain cleanliness across facilities. Responsibilities include sanitizing restrooms, offices, and common areas; sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal; and reporting maintenance needs.

Flexibility for nights and weekends is required. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and background checks as well as drug screening.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Pass PA Criminal Background Check and drug screen; TB test required.
• Clearances for PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting required.

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and public spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors, carpets, and hard surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to facility procedures.

• Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in designated areas.

Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable part-time Cleaning Technician to join our team at our adult inpatient facility in Mount Pleasant, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various facilities, including offices, restrooms, common areas, and other designated spaces. You will perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal, ensuring a healthy and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and public spaces.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment (vacuum, buffer, etc.) and safely handle cleaning chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
• Good physical stamina; ability to stand, bend, lift, and move around for extended periods.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a cleaning technician, janitor, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Other Requirements

• Pass PA Criminal Background Check.
• Obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances.
• Pass Drug Screen.
• 2-Step TB Test.

Work Conditions

• Facility treating those with substance use disorders.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods of time.
• Work may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and dirt.
• Flexibility in working hours, including nights and weekends, may be required.
