Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient accounting and insurance experience preferred.
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
• Must complete de-escalation training by end of orientation (90 days).

Responsabilités

• Review, handle and take action on unpaid or denied insurance claims older than 30 days.
• Coordinate with insurance billers, coding, medical records, provider offices and business office personnel to resolve claims.
• Follow up designated accounts, balance accounts, identify underpayments and audits as needed.
• Adapt to policy changes as management reserves the right to revise duties.
