Guidehouse is seeking a Cash Posting / Research Coordinator to support hospital and physician billing operations in Birmingham, AL. You will handle patient and insurance requests, assist with research to resolve posting issues, and help keep MSO and Hospital accounts reconciled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of billing, collections, and payment posting experience in a healthcare setting.
• Microsoft Office Experience.
• Database Experience.
• A/R systems Experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete all business-related requests from patients and insurance companies
• Assist supervisor and team leads with research needed to resolve posting issues
• Daily work unapplied accounts both MSO and Hospital
• Run Queries to assist Leadership in making decisions
• Assist both MSO and Hospital Supervisors with audits
