Illinois Bone and Joint Institute LLC is seeking a Cash Application Specialist to ensure accurate posting of patient and insurance payments and to resolve discrepancies. The role requires 3+ years in healthcare revenue cycle, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail.

You will handle ERAs/835s, EOBs, and collaborate with payer portals to resolve credits. Base salary is commensurate with experience; IBJI offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience posting payments and cash reconciliation in healthcare revenue cycle.
• Ability to interpret EOBs, ANSI codes, and PLB adjustments.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Post payments received via ACH, credit card, and lockboxes to patient accounts.
• Research and post Electronic Remittance Files (ERAs/835s) and EOBs.
• Resolve unapplied payments and refunds; escalate as needed.
• Maintain month-end close and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with departments to improve cash posting processes.
