Pima Medical Institute is seeking a Career Prep Instructor to teach foundational courses at the San Antonio campus. This on-site, full-time role involves guiding entry-level students through essential healthcare foundational coursework and delivering engaging instruction.

No teaching license is required; PMI provides training. Ideal candidates have hands-on healthcare experience and are ready to mentor students in study skills, anatomy, physiology, terminology, and more.

Qualifications

• Education: Accredited program recognized by USDE or CHEA with 3 years of occupational experience, or 4 years of training/experience for non-accredited grads.
• Core subject knowledge: Medical Terminology, Anatomy, Physiology.
• Equivalent qualification: any combination that satisfies minimum requirements.
• Technical & soft skills: Strong verbal and written communication; proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Workspace.

Responsabilités

• Instruction & Course Delivery: Design and deliver lesson plans for foundational courses.
• Feedback & Grading: Evaluate classwork and tests within 72 hours.
• Student Mentorship & Advising: Maintain office hours to advise and remediate students.
