Forward Careers, Inc. is hiring a Career Planner for our NEXT healthcare workforce program.

You’ll coach adults as they complete training, secure employment, and build long-term career stability in southeastern Wisconsin. You’ll develop relationships with participants, connect them to education and credential opportunities, and coordinate services that help them move forward—from training to placement and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in career coaching, mentoring, advising, or case management.
• Experience in recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or employee development.
• Experience in workforce development or employment services.
• Experience in healthcare, healthcare education, or healthcare support.
• Experience in human services or community outreach.
• Experience in nonprofit or community-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Coach participants through career exploration, goal setting, training, job search, employment, and career advancement.
• Connect participants to healthcare education and credential opportunities.
• Identify employment, work-based learning, and advancement opportunities.
• Provide resume assistance, interview preparation, job search support, and employment coaching.
• Coordinate supportive services and connect participants with community resources.
• Build relationships with employers, colleges, training providers, and community organizations.
• Maintain participant documentation, case notes, and program data, and follow up with participants.
• Contribute to program goals for training, work-based learning, credential attainment, employment, and career advancement.
