Compensation: Pay Range: $52,555 - $85,400 /year. Duties

Design information systems tailored to user needs, aligned with overall architecture. Review business needs, analyze feasibility, and evaluate project requirements. Provide education and technical documentation for supported systems. Offer ongoing system support through monitoring, maintenance, and on-call processes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Gather and analyze information to define system scope and objectives for healthcare operations.
  2. Educate healthcare software users on effective IT practices, demonstrating interpersonal skills.
  3. Assist in preparing flow charts and models for system feasibility studies.
  4. Estimate costs, tasks, and resources for new or modified systems under supervision.
  5. Develop and maintain system documentation to support ongoing operations and maintenance.
  6. Create training curricula and materials for various instructional methods.
  7. Manage scheduling and logistics for training sessions.
  8. Maintain training resources, including reference materials and user guides.
  9. Stay current with system updates, industry best practices, and trends, including Epic systems.
  10. Engage with end users to assess training needs and gather feedback.
  11. Maintain the training environment collaboratively with the technical team.
  12. Provide user support on a minimal on-call basis, demonstrating excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Associate's degree and one year of experience in healthcare application support, or equivalent work experience.

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations: Epic certification in the support area required or to be obtained within 12 weeks post-training; legacy system familiarity expected if applicable.

Preferred Skills: Onboarding facilitation, training, data entry.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Strong organizational, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple priorities; systems thinking skills to understand interactions between people, processes, and technology.
