United-Westlabs,-Inc.-3 is seeking a Billing Problem Resolution Specialist in Santa Ana, CA for a hybrid role (50% on-site) to investigate, resolve, and prevent billing issues related to laboratory testing services.

You will liaise with patients, clients, health plans, laboratories, and providers to ensure accurate billing, timely reimbursement, and excellent service, while researching denials and payer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of healthcare billing experience or related revenue cycle work.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance billing processes, and reimbursement methods.
• Experience researching and resolving claim denials and billing discrepancies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard Office apps.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Investigate and resolve laboratory billing discrepancies, denials, and payment variances.
• Research payer policies, coverage determinations, coding requirements, and reimbursement issues.
• Review patient accounts to correct demographic, insurance, coding, or charge-related errors.
• Communicate with insurers, providers, clients, and patients to resolve billing concerns.
• Analyze EOBs, remittance advice, denial codes, and payer correspondence.
• Prepare and submit corrected claims, appeals, and supporting documentation.
