Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a data analytics professional to develop, document, test, and implement management and end-user reporting applications within the MSO environment. The role includes QA for data integrity and maintaining automated reporting for end users.

You will collaborate with users, technical support, and operations teams while providing database and application support for Decision Support end users, leveraging SQL for ad-hoc reporting requests and medical billing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field.
• Work experience MAY substitute for degree requirement.
• Preferred: Two (2) years of data analysis experience using SQL queries and report writing applications to fulfill end user ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Experience with medical billing data and analysis along with a working knowledge of medical billing practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, test, and implement management and end user reporting applications.
• Perform quality assurance for data integrity of MSO BI applications.
• Schedule and maintain automated reporting functions for end users.
• Act as a liaison with users, technical support, and operations personnel.
• Provide database and application support for all Decision Support end users.
