Job summary

Machinify seeks a Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager to own reporting and data analytics across client programs. You’ll supervise analysts, write SQL against claims datasets, and establish standards for dashboards and crosswalks.

The role emphasizes reliability, data quality, and proactive insights in a healthcare context. You’ll collaborate with data engineers, manage client expectations, and drive a cohesive analytics roadmap while operating in a remote, US-wide work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in business/analytics/healthcare analytics.
• Experience leading or mentoring others and providing direct feedback on technical work.
• 5+ years in business intelligence, healthcare claims data analysis, or analytics engineering.
• Hands-on experience with eligibility, member and claims data within healthcare analytics environments.
• Advanced SQL: write, read, debug, and performance-tune complex queries on large datasets.
• Experience with a modern BI/reporting platform and a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake).
• Proven ability to integrate data from disparate sources and identify reporting discrepancies.
• Strong communication with executives and external clients; defend figures with evidence.

Responsibilities

• Own reporting frameworks and standards that meet client requirements and SLAs.
• Own client compliance reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting for programs including 271/835/NCPDP-based reporting.
• Partner with data engineering on pipeline reliability and data quality.
• Write and optimize production-grade SQL against large-scale claims data; manage version control of codebase.
• Lead a team of reporting analysts; set priorities and coach on technical work.
• Build crosswalks, validation logic, and data checks for ongoing reporting needs.
• Monitor client files and ETL processes; coordinate with counterparts to resolve upstream data issues.
