Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Dallas, TX seeks an Associate, Banking Analysis to conduct in-depth financial analysis of companies and assess investment opportunities across healthcare and other sectors. You will build and review complex financial models and prepare client-ready materials for M&A, IPO and market discussions.

Role requires experience with market data tools (Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ) and Excel, plus the ability to mentor analysts and coordinate cross-team efforts.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree with required years of experience in financial analysis and investment banking.
• Experience analyzing company data, live transactions, regulatory filings, annual reports and other disclosures.
• Proficiency with Excel, Bloomberg and Capital IQ for market data analyses and client reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis on companies to assess investment opportunities across industries.
• Develop and review financial models including operating, M&A, DCF, and LBO analyses.
• Prepare presentation materials for investment discussions, market landscape decks, client pitches, M&A pitches and IPO pitches.
• Oversee analysts, training, cross-team collaboration and task completion.
• Screen target companies and provide SME support for healthcare bankers and vendor relationships.
