Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking an internal audit professional to conduct and assist with financial, operational and year-end audits across the organization. You will compile findings, present recommendations, and support management in resolving audit-related issues.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting (or equivalent) with at least two years in internal or public auditing, and a CPA or CIA license (or plan to obtain within one year).

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or comparable degree, with at least two years in internal auditing or public accounting.
• CPA or CIA license or commitment to pass all parts within one year of employment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with spreadsheets, databases, flowcharts, word processing, and presentation software.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews and assesses effectiveness and efficiency of operational controls by conducting financial and operational audits in accordance with annual audit plan.
• Compiles accurate and precise documentation of audit findings; submits recommendations for operational improvements as necessary and appropriate.
• Reviews and assesses compliance with established policies and procedures by testing sample transactions.
• Reviews methods of safeguarding assets from loss or theft; verifies existence of assets as appropriate.
• Reviews and assists with resolving audit-related problems identified by management as requested.
• Assists external auditors in the performance of interim and year-end audit work to facilitate the timely and efficient completion of the audit.
