Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification required.
• Public accounting audit experience 4–10+ years depending on level; SNF/healthcare audit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Healthcare audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Review work papers, financial statements, and audit documentation.
• Analyze and evaluate internal controls, accounting processes, and systems.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, reviewing work and providing on-the-job training.
• Manage client communications, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Oversee multiple engagements and manage project budgets and billing (manager/director level).
• Develop and maintain client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact (manager/director level).
• Contribute to business development, proposal efforts, and practice growth initiatives (director level).
• Perform technical research and stay current on Healthcare and GAAP requirements.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client service and strengthen relationships.

This role can be based in our Cleveland or Akron office or performed fully remotely. Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification required
• Public accounting audit experience ranging from 4 -10+ years depending on level
• Working knowledge of GAAP and assurance standards; skilled nursing facility (SNF) or healthcare audit experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and technical skills
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a team-oriented environment
